Another Mile

Another Mile

A Poem by Chelsea Schermerhorn

Take me away,

away from this place.

Take me somewhere

filled with beauty and grace.

I love my home,

Don't misunderstand.

I'm just so tired of following.

this same plan.

Day to Day,

My life's the same,

never changes,

so mundane.

Show me adventure;

Make my heart smile.

Here we are at last;

let's go another mile.

Take me away,

away from this place.

Take me somewhere

filled with beauty and grace.
