Will It Ever End?

Will It Ever End?

A Poem by Chelsea Schermerhorn

I thought it was gone,

But I was wrong.

There is no happiness

Left in this song.

The weight of the world

Presses down on me.

This pain, this struggle

Is all that I see.

The load is becoming heavier;

These burdens are too much to bear.

No one seems to know;

No one seems to care.

There has to be some relief

My will continues to bend.

What I need to know is

Will it ever end?

It ends when we walk out of it. It is not easy, not fun, but it is possible. Seek the world out for all of us have the ability to find our way into happiness. Escaping is easier than seeking a way out but escaping does not show us happiness, sadly. Seek the way out of our misery in life and continue living with pride. We have the strength in us.
