![]() her inner thoughtsA Poem by Daisy Santiago
The pain she has to go through is like no other,
She hides in her bedroom with the company of her sorrows. She hopes & she prays to God, "When will all of this end?" He answers, "My child, trust in me. I am no enemy, yet a friend." She longs for a change of love & respect Yet, all she gets is hatred & neglect. Her faith is slowly growing weary, Thinking to herself, 'is this truly necessary?' She's thinking it's almost hitting her limit of endurance, Yet God reassures her, "Patience my child, time is yet to come for a difference." © 2015 Daisy SantiagoFeatured Review
