Dried out like an old wineskin
While the fire burns so sad and dim
I’m tired of struggling to keep it lit
So maybe I’ll rest and fold my limbs

Awesome review, man- straight and to the point. I’m glad you didn’t think it was garbage :)
At age 64, after 2 decades of constant all-over pain, this is exactly how I feel. Thank you for putting it into a context that doesn't make it sound grotesque or suicidal. It's not that I would do anything to invite death, but I won't do much to prevent it, either. Sometimes living is overrated & especially in these difficult times, it seems especially ridiculous to stick around for the outcome. Way to say so much in so few words (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
