Miss Invisible

Miss Invisible

A Poem by Lydia Jamison

You cannot see me.
I am invisible.
It's a beautiful feeling,
Not to be seen.

All the places
That I used to haunt,
Are now empty.
My presence is gone.

No one can say
That they miss me,
Or that they are glad
To see me go.

If they want
To come looking,
I will wait
Right here in the open.

I am Miss Invisible.
