Silver TeardropsA Poem by A. M. Charles
Silver teardrops,
Eating silver teardrops make me cry. Put it to my head and let the metal slide. What do you fear? What makes you cry and scream in the night? There’s no one there. Just hopeless thoughts and dreams that squeeze you tight. Waking up in cold sweat Shivers racing up your spine. Have you had enough of this yet? Doesn’t rest just sound sublime? Come with me now. Crawl inside yourself and close your eyes. Follow me and leave behind your sad disguise. Silver teardrops, Eating silver teardrops make me cry. Put it to my head and let the metal slide. © 2012 A. M.
