Fabulous Sutures

Fabulous Sutures

A Poem by Danielle Searby

Bite your lips until they bleed.

The mouth caresses the hurt it feeds.

There is no way out except to erupt.

Swallow a shot of sugar.

Throw caution to the wind.

Holding back the waves as the tide turns back.
