Confide In Nothing

Confide In Nothing

A Poem by Complex Disaster

He discovered new life then he chased it away
Now solitude burns at the end of the day
What is life if lived all alone? Embracing these chills that cut to the bone
Nothing to soothe this regret and this shame
Nothing to lose at the end of the day
The scars on the body reflect on the soul and everything's broken that could have been whole
A life of disdain laced with discord
The price of salvation he could never afford
So he drowned in the ashes of what he'd burned down
With his one way ticket straight into the ground...
