Storms and Drives

Storms and Drives

A Poem by Daphnee
"

I love driving in storms

"
Rain drops race down the car window
The sky is mad, its temper enraged
Lightning reflects in my tear driven eyes
Thunder cracks, a sad smile appears
How could I feel so happy and yet so down?
Its good to cry, or so I've been told
Its like pulling a thorn out of your foot
A long drive and loud music, refreshes the soul
Ones aknowledgement of their own emotions
Has the power to change, has the power to understand
For all the raw feelings that are buried within the spirit, will soon escape and be resolved

The last line sort of alludes to rain. It too, like tears, will dry. Good writing.
