The First Joy of Marriage

The First Joy of Marriage

A Poem by Terrell A. Pullen
"

These words could be wedding vows!

"
[center]Im going to look into your eyes right now and
Realize what I have cause
With you I am a new man, so
Forever in life,
For you,
I will stand and
Treat you like the queen of my world, equal of my land

Im looking forward to the dumb things
Im talking, strolling in the park things
Holding hands in this unity
While to you my heart sings

I want to do the whole shebang with you
I say my vows,
I say them loud,
And I say them true

Anticipating that a smile comes upon your face
So that forever you will be in my space

This love is a happy feeling
Thats why I need it most
Not just sexual healing

So with a kiss to seal the deal,
Honeymoon to match
I say to you my love,
Im glad we are attached
