Mr. Bar

Mr. Bar

A Poem by Terrell A. Pullen

She calls me her sweets
So I know which one to be
Nutty, Smooth, Chocolate
Caramel me
Made for a queen but,
I'm the size of a king
One bite of this me
Her taste buds will sing!

See now...

Wait...

You all are nasty
I'm talking candy
Get your mind right
Everyone has a flavor
I know mines aright...

I am smooth and dark on the outer frame
Rich caramel over crunchy peanuts on the inside
See what I'm saying?

She satisfies herself with me
Every bite is a new taste you see
I bring a smile to her face
When there was once a frown in that place
I take her out of a world of hate
A brand new earth is what I create
She needs a new fix
I am "sweets" the pill that she takes
And once she gets that high
For the new one she just can't wait

I laughed at the part
you all are nasty
i'm talking candy
get your mind right
everyone has a flavor
I know mines alright...
very interesting take on candy, loved it. Talk about imagery, I need to stop on my way home from work and get a candy bar.
