My Loneliness

My Loneliness

A Poem by Terrell A. Pullen

From the outside looking in
Thats where I stay
Thinking to myself is this the end
Was I really that bad in the worst of ways?

My days are sick like the flu
Warm in temperature but chills to the skin
Saying to the mirror I have no one but you
With odds like that it gets hard to win

Space to my left
Space to my right
Need any help
No ones in sight

Cant figure out what I did to deserve this
This emptiness I have inside of me
Im giving and giving but yet it seems
Beyond all my giving, God is not yet pleased
Or am I just giving to make up for all of my past things?
