Why Does Love Hurt?

Why Does Love Hurt?

A Story by MysticClown

Love is represented by a rose.
An with every rose there is thorns.
No matter what you do you always get pricked by those thorns.
An if a rose is supposed to be a symbol of love
Then why do they die?
Love should be forever.
If the rose wilts or dies.
What happens to the love that it represents?
Does it fade away or does it still linger around?
Love is supposed to be one of the strongest feelings in the world.
So if it's one of the strongest feelings to cherish.
Then it's also the strongest to get hurt by.
So why do we even feel the need for love if it hurts us?
Please tell me why?

Tsuki loves how you highlighted love in each part. ^^ Brings out the poem better.
