Transient Wind.

Transient Wind.

A Poem by Stormy Weather
"

Just a little somethin'.

"
A cool wind on a hot summers day.
A bit of relief from the grueling pain.
Drifting away as the sun stabs through,
All of this makes me think of you.

Great virtual promises that were never kept,
were the reasons I wept and wept.
Who knew the hot fire in the fireplace,
were to set the whole house ablaze?
It all slowly burns down,
Into ashes upon the ground.
Where did it all go?
I'll never know.
Like trying to find warmth among the snow.

Everyone loves to watch the monkey dance.
In his fez hat and little red pants.
Nobody takes a look at the man behind the booth.
Making profit in a manner so uncouth.

It is only fair that you ask "why?"
Before you slowly explode on the inside.
Watching it spread throughout space,
a look of great wonder upon your face.

A sharp knife cutting through the blue,
all of this makes me think of you

Author's Note

Stormy Weather
This is actually kind of old....but I found it and decided to share it. Not super great, but it's like one big metaphor.
