Where's Your Heart

Where's Your Heart

A Poem by Megan Bradton
"

A Kyrielle about love and longing

"

Where's Your Heart

Turn my head to look at you
In the light of rising sun
Wishing I could know your heart
I long to hear I'm your only one

You say that you I'm here
Though I lately wonder where you run
When life is too harsh to bear
I long to hear I'm your only one

So long as her memory continues
To haunt your heart, she's won
I do not want to own you, but
I long to hear I'm your only one

Who is it that you think of
When your arms around me come
When lips and skin are side-by-side
I long to hear I'm your only one
