I sit in class and stare at you.

When we hang-out,

You do the same too.

 

We always laugh and you make me smile…

And time just seems to float away,

When you’re around, even just for awhile.

 

Is it really what they say?

 

 

 

Real love I found it,

Only in you…

 

 

I wake up that morning with butterflies,

But I’m ready to tell you my big surprise.

 

I walk up to you, and you smile at me…

 

 

 

ONLY CRAP!

I’m nervous as hell,

I second guess.

I start looking away from your eyes and down…

AT YOUR CHEST!

 

I focus my attention and the words fly out,

“I LOVE YOU!”, I say 100 percent,

Without a doubt.

 

It’s awkward now, nothing to say…

 

 

 

 

Her words blow my heart away…

 

 

Until she says, “I’m seeing someone…”

 

I smile back,
