TEPID MOVESA Poem by DarkPoet1510Awake from a slumber serene Lighted eyes that just preen Behold the majesty of the King cat With a stride set to enrich the
habitat!
Moon fared, sun soaked, starry
whiskers, Uplifted ears groping for a visible
prey Shiny muscles that rustle through
the bush, Gliding on fours, no hurry…no push.
Oh! The dilemma of maternal love to
pawn, Eyes the alert deer with its supple
fawn Glances betray passion of a hunter, And care of a
being, Nature wins and instinct strodes
forth To make a
killing.
Monkey on tree sees it all, a mind
to aid Not sure, the one who rules, or the
one frail Shouts a timid cry, that neither
warns nor offends Hints, forest diplomacy nay, gay
abandon.
Bengal Bob lurks through green-browns, Leaps across the
stream. Not a chase, just a warm-up to the
game Whispers around, deer trods closer
to flock, Dares any fangy designs. Knows, the king in a lazy siesta and Not the nocturnal beast !!
