Whisper In My Ear

Whisper In My Ear

A Poem by Dark Tower

Whisper In My Ear

Would it be a cliché if I said we were meant to be?

I could go on and on about how much you mean to me

Could tell you that you bring my dreams into reality

I could tell you how I live to hear your heart beat

And that when I look into your eyes I see my destiny

I lean in close and whisper in your ear

baby I'd like to tell you something

But I cant find the words

Maybe one day

I'll find the strength to say....

We've never met so it can't be love at first sight

Its just your picture I kiss before I go to bed at night

Your name is always on my lips be it day or night

If you died the world would stay the same

Its just me who would be different

How could I live

If my heart was missing?

But I just don't have the courage to step up to you

And tell you how I feel.

I lean in close and whisper in your ear

baby I'd like to tell you something

But I cant find the words

Maybe one day

I'll find the strength to say....

Eventually I find the strength

Flowers and chocolate in hand and I am hell bent

That I'll just be honest with the girl who's heaven sent

I grab your hand and turn you around

And quick before you can make a sound

I lean in close and whisper in your ear

Michaela I love you.

Lips touch lips

Hands meet waist

Time freezes

And fireworks light up in space

After an eternity, lips part

But the one thing that always stays together

Is our hearts.

Thank you. I had my doubts about the rhyme scheme though...what do you think?
