Whistled this to myself

Smile

The sun brings us the morning
And the moon brings us the night
In between these miracles is that wonderful thing we call life
We've got to ears to hear the music
And eyes to see the light
Smile everyday
Because its a wonderful life

I've got a spring in my step
Laughter on my mind
Can't wait for the day to start
New day begins and yesterdays problems are left behind
I've got a tune in my heart
Smile everyday
Because its a wonderful life

I smell the flowers
They smell beautiful
Step outside
And my dogs are outside ready to play
And as I tuck myself in bed tonight
This is what I'll say
Smile
Its been a wonderful day.

Brilliant work mate, the kind of thing you need to see when you wake up, gets that positive vibe going. Also really like the consistency in the shape of the Stanzas.

Awe what a sweet and positive poem :) Thank you for sharing it, eloquently written and makes me feel very happy - only one thing to point out - In the fourth line, not sure if you meant "two' instead of "to" or if there is just an extra "to' in there - other than a wonderful poem that I will favorite!
