Ripples Are Scattered Thoughts

Ripples Are Scattered Thoughts

A Poem by Dark Tower

In her arms
I found heaven
In her kiss
I found paradise
I see eternity
Reflected in the brown pools
Of her eyes

If a tear could cause a ripple
I'd catch it before it fell
If heaven is real
Its in your arms
Because out of them I'm going through hell
Is this how it feels
To be in the thrall of angel?
If so
To your lips I will always be faithful

Sidetracked
Love thinking of you
And each time that I do
It feels great and its cool
The word that I'd use
When I'm talking of you
No... I cant get sidetracked

Gemstone
That's what I call her
Plenty
That's how much I adore her
Anything
Is what I'd give for her
Nothing
Is what I wouldn't sacrifice to be with her
She makes me smile
In a different way
She's the reason my dreams cling to me
When night has turned into day

Sidetracked
I sometimes fall deeper than love
The feeling you get when the voice from above
Is shining a light on something that you want
And its just so damn rare that things make any sense
But wishing for us and hoping this
Is aligning in ways that have got me convinced
No...I shouldn't get sidetracked

I could paint your face
with both eyes closed
From memory as if it were a trace
I could describe your lips
From the half heart crescent to the nectarous taste
I close my eyes and envision our embrace
Warm to the touch
Soft to skin
As hopeful as prayer and as sweet as sin
