Sitting In The water

Sitting In The water

A Poem by Dark Tower

I know
I don't want to leave her
But I'm running out of strength
And I don't want to be in this world neither
Sitting in the water
Watching it rise
See my sweet escape
in the arms of the tide

Holding to something
Anchored down
But the anchors breaking
And noone is around
The water keeps rising
Cries lost in the sound
See my sweet escape
In the arms of the tide

I'm not really falling
Or floating at all
Where has the lion gone?
Can't hear him roar
But he's lost in the water
And can't swim out
King of the jungle l
But you lost your pride
See my sweet escape
In the arms of the tide.

To watch die and we cannot stop her. Hardest days of a life.
"The water keeps rising
Cries lost in the sound
See my sweet escape
In the arms of the tide"
The above lines could stand alone. Thank you my friend for sharing the outstanding poetry.
