Sing me a Lullaby

Sing me a Lullaby

A Poem by Sharna

Sing me a lullaby,
a sweet goodnight.
Sing me a lullaby,
to pass the night.

Sing it soft,
to aid my fear.
Sing it soft,
to free those dear.

Sing through the sorrow,
that runs our lives.
sing thorough the shadows
that haunt like knives

And if I stir,
promise me that,
you'll stay by my side
and if I try to hide
you'll say in a whisper
The sweet Lullaby
I wish to hear
