Everything in Life

Everything in Life

A Poem by Darkness11

Sometimes in my darkness

I begin to see the light

But rarely that ever happens

Everything in life is not meant for me

Sometimes I see a spark

A spark of light

Piercing the darkness smothering me

Everything in life is fine

Sometimes I see her

In the midst of my sadness

She makes it all better

Everything in life is wonderful

Sometimes I sit with her

My arm around her shoulders

Hugging her tightly

Everything in life is amazing

Sometimes when I’m alone

The thoughts come back to haunt me

They always do

Everything in life is dreary

Sometimes when I kiss her

A tingling surges through me

It always does

Everything in life is just how it should be
