Caesar

Caesar

A Poem by Wraith

Ever watching,
Ever searching.
Blind to virtue,
Always hoping.
Sunk deep within our hopes and dreams,
Behind eyes, as dark thoughts that go unseen.
A thousand blessings,
A fatal curse.
Descent into your final verse.
The thing to raise you up so high,
Would kill you,
Do you wonder why?

Ambition dear child,
Bred in greed.
Ambition dear child,
Sinful seed.
Ambition dear child,
Your guiltless dead.
Ambition dear child,
My warning heed.

About
You don't need eyes to see. You don't need ears to hear. You don't need touch to feel. At the same time you can be blind and yet have eyes. You can be deaf and yet have ears. You can not feel and yet .. more..
