A poem that tells a certain someone in my life that it's their turn to get a hold of me.

Once Upon That Time

I’ll move ahead; you’ll find someone new,
I’ll be here, as always, if you ever need me.
Don’t say a word about tomorrow or forever,
There’ll be enough time to be sad when you leave.
Baby I have your number, and I know you have mine,
But you know I text you, I text you too many times.
You can text me baby, you can text me anytime,
But you have to text me.

What a nice change! The theme is common i.e. love but the last four lines are strong, even though I am too old to know much about texting! Such a relief to see good punctuation. Do not change to the modern unpunctuated drivvel! Stay in control of how you want it read! All in all good potential. Will be interesting to see some work on uncommon themes!
