This Summer’s Eve is What We Both Dreamed of Our Whole Life

This summer's eve is what we both dreamed of our whole life.

Chilled breeze runnin', whippin' all around,
A blanket covering us together,
Sandwiched between us and the stars.

This is what we both dreamed of.

Giggling, tickling, the night's ours.
Mosquitoes have nothing on us,
Making a memory that's forever,
Only if we hold onto it.
Forever. It will last--forever.

This summer's eve is what we both dreamed of our whole life.

Morning's dusk is sneaking up on us,
Devouring the crumbs of our yesterday together.

This is what we both dreamed of.

If a photo exists of our night together,
It would hold our time in words

Stuck in the middle of the ink and plastic.
Could of been chance that brought us here,
Nah, it's our destiny to be here--together.

This summer's eve is what we both dreamed of our whole life.
