The Watcher

The Watcher

A Poem by Kajuan Simmons

The one who wins is the one with it all.
The one with the power to make you fall.
Then what am I who should I be.
Who will be their to set me free.
Inside of this cage of my design.
Telling myself all will be fine.
On a fast journey on this narrow path.
I practically forgot how to do the math.
You plus me or is it me minus you.
I no longer know what to do.
Destruction and misery down a wide path.
The world will soon feel my wrath.
To bad i can not do much in these chains.
I wont even be able to stop it when it rains.
Out in the distance who do I see.
The Dark shadow who wants to be me.
and now the day has come he is finally free.
because the light is no longer in me.
