The World Breathes

The World Breathes

A Poem by Kajuan Simmons
"

Where do you stand this in this world?

"
What Lies beneath the place you call home?
What do you feel when you answer your phone?
What do you hear on the other line?
as you scream all will be fine.
The answer in front of you is plain as day.
Those who have wronged you must pay.
but the list you create is far to wrong.
because every human on earth is wrong.
Since you can not bring the earth to its knees.
You must run to find the keys.
The keys to salvation
or the means to your own damnation.
Love, live, do as you please,
but as long as you are human you will never have the keys.
The keys belong to nothing less than a God.
The fact that you want them is quite odd.
Humans always crave what they can't see.
Free yourself from people like me.
The world isn't yours don't waste your time.
So keep screaming to yourself all will be fine.

I wouldn't believe this poem to be true, as people who have found enlightenment do not suffer. Suffering comes from a person's own mind.

However this was perfect beyond the broad generalization of the human population.

The word choice and flow was excellent, but you should try a more positive topic because the worst thing a writer can do is alienate their readers.
