This poem was inspired by an acquaintance of mine

Sunlight stricken sunflowers

Intoxicating sapphires poison
Mystical shadows stay silent
Flesh dotted with transparent beads
History numbs empathy
Coma induced smiles
Three truths of your illusion
Dare to play chess?
Where white knights become black horses
This masterpiece will fall into ruins
As the queen of hearts burns slowly
