OUAT/VD: Her New Happy Ending (Robin/Kat)

Kat escapes the prison world and Kai, only to end up in the enchanted forest. When Robin comes upon her and saves her when she's injured because of Kai, what will ensue?

        It was a beautiful day, as a human Kat landed on solid ground, not yet knowing where she was, having just gone through a portal to escape a prison world and Kai. It hurt when she landed, despite landing on grass, considering Kai had injured her. There was blood on the right side of her head, an arrow in her leg, and a lower stomach wound. She assumed she had a possible concussion, but she wasn't sure. She knew she was losing a lot of blood too, but she couldn't do much. When she landed on the grass though, she did roll onto her back, instead of staying on her side. She assumed that a hospital was probably miles away if there was one, so she knew she had to try and conserve her strength, as well as try to not die until someone could find her. 

        As everything began to go blurry from the blood loss, she heard the sound of hoofs from probably one horse. Then she could hear that someone was close by.

        Robin Hood of Locksley had been horseback riding to some areas for hunting, but when he saw that someone was injured, he stopped the horse he was on, before dismounting to see if he could help her. He then led the horse half a distance from her and tied the lead rope to a tree. He then approached the rest of the way, before kneeling down at her side.

        "You're injured," he stated, seeing that she was still awake. "It's okay. You're going to be okay. What's your name?"

        When she saw that someone had found her, reminding her of a fairytale character, she was relieved to know that he was going to take care of her. 

        "Katherine Pierce," she answered him. 

        "I'm Robin Hood," he informed her. 

        A few days later, she'd been tended to and had her full strength back. Since being tended to, she'd been staying with Robin in an area of the enchanted forest. It was a good area for hunting, but it was also safe from most dangers. And the good thing was that Robin hadn't asked her a lot of questions. He seemed to be a patient and kind person.

        It was a beautiful day, as she and Robin sat on a log next to each other. They'd just eaten.

        "If you're well enough to travel, we should go. We've stayed in one spot too long," he told her.

        "I'm quite well," she replied. "You probably have realized from my clothes though that I'm not from around here. There's a world outside of this land. I just so happened to end up here when I escaped a crazy witch. I'm thankful for your kindness, but I need a portal to get me out of here."

        "We'll head out then. I'll help you with your portal. We must be careful, though. There are many dangers in the enchanted forest."

        "Well, I'm no stranger to danger. I'm always running or facing danger. Just lead the way," she replied. 

        "Very well then," he replied, and got to his feet. Then he held out his hand, which she took, and he helped her to her feet.

        A few weeks later, they found a way back to our world, his son, Roland, with him. When he'd wanted to make a stop to bring his son along, she'd understood. Now, after opening a portal with a magic bean, the three of them went through it. The few weeks of looking for a way, after all, had resulted in them falling for each other. Because of that, Robin was going with her. And he was bringing Roland, too. He'd lost his wife. He didn't want to lose or abandon his son. Plus, he had an honorable code. He'd never leave anyone behind. And so, their happy ending began in Storybrooke.
