Ch.2: The Werewolf

        It was a nebulous night, as a russet werewolf with two different eye colors padded through the woods, looking for someone in particular. The one person who had ruined his life. She'd killed nearly all of his pack family centuries ago, but he was still alive. She'd spared his life, because he'd still been a child back then. Why was he still alive if this happened centuries ago? When he'd grown up, he'd found a witch that had willingly made an amulet necklace for him, making it possible for him to remain young and to have more abilities than an average werewolf. If the amulet were to break though, all of that power would dissipate for him. No matter what though, Axel was ready to seek his revenge on Katherine Pierce.

        Kat was in the woods, this time with Hook, investigating after someone had nearly been attacked by a werewolf. She knew that Ruby had control, so it hadn't been her. She knew that it had to be a wolf from her world. 

        Suddenly, she heard something behind her, so she turned around. That's when she saw Axel. Then he tackled her to the ground, before starting to claw and bite her. 

        As she felt his claws and was being bitten, she used a hand to put on his chest, trying to get him far enough away that he couldn't bite her more. She was having trouble, though.

        When Hook heard a commotion a few distances away, having been looking in a different area than Katherine, he headed back to where she was to help her if need be. That's when he came upon the scene. He wasn't exactly equipped to deal with a werewolf, though.

        When she saw Hook arrive, she told him when he pulled out his gun to defend her, "Shoot the amulet. He can't die if it's intact."

        After Hook shot the amulet, breaking it, Axel turned to him, giving Kat time to magically kill him. She then got to her feet.

        Hook approached her.

        "Are you okay, Pierce?" he asked.

        "I'm fine. It's just a couple bites and some scratches."

        He was relieved at that. Then, a moment later, they began to makeout. Then, later, her wounds were tended to and they went home.
