Ch.7: New Revelations

Ch.7: New Revelations

A Chapter by Datherine100

It was a beautiful day, as everyone was at the diner. Regina was by the bar, when Tinkerbell approached Regina.

"It's the lion tattoo," she informed her, seeing it on Robin, when she passed by him, as he was seated with a drink. "It's what was prophesied. He's your soulmate."

"I know," Regina whispered, not wanting him to hear. "I saw it yesterday."

        "And you didn't tell me?"

"Well, right now I have better things to do than to gossip about boys."

Robin got up and came over to them.

        "Care for a drink?"

Tink took a drink from him immediately.

        "I, uh...I do hope I didn't upset you yesterday."

Regina didn't have anything to say and, trying to come up with something, introduced him to Tinkerbell.

        "Uh, Robin Hood, Tinkerbell."

        They shook hands.

"I've been wanting to meet you for a very long time," Tink told him.

Regina finally answered him from a few minutes ago.

"And, no, you didn't upset me. I just found a clue trail that needed to be followed. One that didn't lead anywhere." She then told him, "I don't daytime drink."

"Ah, well, um, perhaps some evening, then."

He gave a nod, before turning and walking away.

"What was all that about?" Tink questioned, going to stand in front of her. "Didn't you learn anything from the last time you screwed this up? If you had been open to the possibility of love when you first saw him, maybe your life wouldn't have turned out so..."

"So what? How did my life turn out?" Regina wanted to know.

        "What am I even bothering?"

Regina watched, as Tink walked away from her.

A moment later, someone walked into the diner, which was found out to be the responsible witch.

"Why are you here?" Regina questioned her.

"I can finally pay a visit to my little sister," she replied to Regina.

"Who the hell are you talking about?"

        "Why, you, of course, Regina."

"I'm an only child," Regina told her, not believing her.

"Cora lied to you, Regina. I'm your sister. Half, if you want to get technical."

"Why should I believe anything you say?" Regina wanted to know.

"Oh, well, you shouldn't. It's a lot to swallow, which is why I've brought a gift to help."

        Regina gave a chuckle.

        "I don't want a gift from you."

"Oh, but you shall have it. My gift to you is this day. Use it to dig into our past, Regina. You need to learn the truth, and you must believe it. And then meet me on main street tonight. Say...sundown."

        "Then what?" Regina questioned her.

        "Then I'll destroy you."

"This isn't the wild west," Regina reminded her.

"No, dear. It's the wicked west," she replied, before announcing to everyone else in the diner, "And I want everyone to be there to see the Evil Queen lose."

        "I don't lose," Regina replied.

She gave a chuckle, before telling Regina, "Neither do I. One of us is about to make history. See you tonight, Sis." Then she turned around, chuckling, as she left the diner, and used magic to close the door behind herself.

People start questioning Regina about her, and Regina had to tell them that Cora never mentioned having another child, just as she'd already told Katherine.

"Well, whether Cora mentioned it to you or not, seems like she still wants you dead one way or another," Katherine interceded.

"I never even met her before today."

"Maybe you did something to make her angry at you," Kat suggested, knowing Regina's story.

"You did manage to step on a lot of toes back in our world."

"Well, none of them were green," Regina replied, realizing from the encounter that the witch was the Wicked Witch.

"Then there's the missing memory," Granny put in. "Maybe you did something to her that you don't remember."

"Stick to the lasagna, lady," Regina replied to Granny. "It's starting to sound like a lot of you are on her side," Regina then stated, before putting her coat on. "I'm going to go find out exactly what this witch thinks I did to her.

"I'll go with you," Kat told her, which Regina didn't protest to. They both knew two heads were better than one.

In Regina's vault, she'd been looking and looking, as Katherine helped her out, until Regina found a letter.

"What does it say?" Kat questioned.

"Zelena is my sister," she stated. Then stated, "It's my fight. I've got it handled." She then left Katherine behind to leave, once she'd closed a chest.

Katherine knew something had to have been in that letter, but for once, she wasn't going to ask anything further. She'd never been into being too personal with others. Plus, Regina was someone that you didn't go digging into her personal life, and Katherine respected that.

Regina was sitting on a log in the woods, when she felt like she was being watched, and she was.

"We have to stop meeting like this," Robin stated, coming from behind a tree.

"Did Katherine send you to give me a pep talk? 'Cause I don't do well with pep talks."

"No. Nothing of the sort. After Zelena's threat, I decided to patrol the woods in case she decided to build the ranks of her simian army," he replied, speaking of the flying monkeys, which were people that had been bitten by other flying monkeys, which then turned them into flying monkeys. He then sat down by her, asking, "How are you holding up?"

"I'm not a flying monkey, if that's what you mean."

He gave a chuckle at that.

"So, are you gonna tell me what's in that letter you've been staring at?"

"What letter?" she questioned, having put it in her pocket, once she'd realized that she'd been being watched.

He pulled a thief stunt, stealing it from her pocket without her knowing, and then held up the folded piece of paper.

"This one," he told her. "I'm a pickpocket by trade. I've spent many years learning how to rob from magicians."

"You're lucky I'm saving my strength for that witch."

"I think, deep down, you actually want to talk about what's in here."

"And what makes you think you know me so well?" she wanted to know.

"Well, for one thing, I'd be charred to a crisp by now if you didn't."

        "True," she agreed.

He gave a chuckle, before asking her, "So, can I read it?"

        "I'm not stopping you."

        He opened it, reading aloud.

        "Cora, dear,

I finally got my hands on your firstborn. Never thought I'd find her. Did you? Now I know why. She's the most powerful sorceress I've ever encountered. Even more powerful than you. Stunning in every way."

Robin commented to the letter, saying to her, "Rather complimentary, I'd say. Why is this troubling you?"

"I've seen that letter a hundred times before. In my darkest moments, I'd go to it for comfort, for solace, for a boost when I needed it, because I always thought it was about me."

        "It's about Zelena," he realized.

"Rumplestiltskin thinks she's more powerful than I am."

"Why care what that imp thinks?"

"Because if the man who taught me everything I know about magic thinks she is stronger than I am, then there's no way I can win this fight."

That night, the time for the fight began. Zelena was there first, so they had to wait for Regina to show up, before the fight could begin.

Regina approached, and since Zelena was wearing black as well as Regina, Regina had to state to her, "Didn't anyone tell you? Black is my color."

"But it looks so much better on me. I was beginning to think you weren't going to show up."

"I couldn't let my sister off that easily," Regina replied.

"So, you've finally accepted me into the family?"

"I've accepted that we shared a mother, yes. But I still have one question. What the hell did I ever do to you?"

"Isn't it obvious? You were born," Zelena replied to her, which got her a slap from Regina.

        Regina gave a smile.

"I've been waiting to do that all day."

"He should have chosen me," Zelena then told her.

        "Who?"

        "Rumplestiltskin."

"That's what this is about? You're jealous of me?"

Zelena was angry, and she made a light from an electric line fall to the ground, as well as skid, making some of the towns people step back, away from it.

"You still don't realize what you had. You never did. You got everything I ever wanted, and you didn't even deserve it! But I'm gonna take it all from you!"

Zelena magically tossed her, making her land on the hood and windshield of a blue car that was parked nearby.

Regina slowly got up. Then, once up, turned around, fireball in hand, as she walked towards her. However, Zelena put it out, before magically lifting her off the ground, magically choking her.

"You can't beat me, little Sis. Everything Rumplestiltskin taught you, he taught me, too. But I was the better student."

Kat had had enough of Regina getting her a*s kicked by her apparent half sister, and went to the front. Most people would've stopped and asked her what she was doing, but nobody did. Kat knew that she was taking a big chance here, stepping in, but did so anyway. She was confident enough that if anything went wrong, Klaus would save her if she needed it. After some time of being in town, she'd learned how to do other spells she had knowledge of from their kind of witches, so she did just that.

"Enough of this," Katherine stated, making Zelena look at her, before Kat magically tossed her, making her land on the ground, letting Regina go, which made Regina fall to the ground. Then, before Zelena had the chance to do anything, Katherine decided to pull a New Orleans witch strategy, starting to boil her blood. To Katherine, it was ironic, since she knew the story from the outside world of the wicked witch. "One thing you should know about me. You don't mess with anyone I care about, or I'll give you hell. The only reason you're alive, is because whether you hate her or not, she's still your blood, and I like to give people a chance usually. Before I kill them, depending on who they are. You hurt Regina, then you'll get to see what I'm capable of. In another lifetime, the name Katherine Pierce was what most people feared. You don't want to mess with me."

After a few more minutes, figuring she'd given her enough pain to at least make her think twice, Kat stopped boiling her blood.

Zelena eventually was able to get up, and stated, "This isn't over," to both of them, before disappearing.

Kat turned around, going over and kneeling by Regina.

        "You okay?" she questioned her.

        "I'm alive, aren't I?" she said back.

Kat helped her to her feet.

Later, after she'd recovered from her fight with Zelena, Regina was in the woods with Robin. Zelena hadn't known it, since she hadn't had the chance to try taking her heart during the fight, but she'd left her heart with Robin Hood. Since Zelena had been right that she didn't always appreciate things, Regina decided to trust him, asking him to hold on to it for a bit longer.

As she turned to walk away, he reminded her, "You still owe me that drink."

        "Yes, I suppose I do."

She gave a smile, as she walked away.
