Ch.4: End of the Darkness

        After a long time of trying to control the darkness, she'd only half succeeded. And so, she'd allowed Rumple in her head to persuade her to open the portal from the underworld, which brought all the Dark Ones from the underworld, and to reality that was Storybrooke. She didn't know anymore how to control it. The only thing she could do other than put the darkness inside of someone else was sacrifice. Kill herself with all the darkness inside of her. And so, she make a sacrifice, but not alone, as usual. 

        After everything was finished, the Dark Ones defeated and both Elijah and Katherine in the underworld, the others were left behind. 

        "I don't know about any of you, but that portal is closing soon. Katherine did us all a favor. Now, it's time I did her a favor. She saved me from being consumed by the darkness, even though she knew how dark she could be even without it. Now, it's time that for once in a while, I saved her," Rumple said, breaking the silence. 

        "You're going to the underworld to get her back?" Regina inquired, making an assumption of what he was going to do. 

        "It's only fair. And this wouldn't be my first trip there and back," Rumple replied and reminded her. 

        "I'm coming with you, then," Regina replied. She'd never been to the underworld, but she could only imagine what it was like. And she couldn't very well let me go on a rescue mission on his own, Dark One or not.
