Ch.1: Let The Fun Begin

William's POV 

        William is at the bar in the town of Mystic Falls. He'd had a terrible day at work. He twirls the beer bottle around on the bar, where he's sitting at. He rejects the girls that are already drunk and can't think straight, and some of them are from his workplace, who don't even talk to him, or know he's there. He sighs, as he drinks two or three sips of the beer. He sees that Klaus is sitting at the bar, whom he knows is friends with Katherine.

        A man crawls away from a woman with vampire eyes and long brown hair. He hold his neck as he tries to get away, but is pulled back and picked up by his throat. It's Katherine, but only Klaus sees the vampire eyes and her usual vampire strength.

Klaus' POV

        I'm sitting at the bar, as I see who I know as one of Katerina's friends, so I take out my phone and text her.

      I found you a new play toy, love, I text. Then I put my phone away and smirk, waiting for an answer from her, as I watch Katerina from a distance, still sitting at the bar. I have a pretty great view from here to see her feed on and kill a random human in the bar. 

Katherine's POV

        I've just finished feeding and killing a male human, when I get a text from Klaus, saying he found me a new boy toy, as us vampires like to call humans.

        After reading the text, I walk over to Klaus, putting my phone away, to find out which human he's referring to as a boy toy. Then, when I find out that it's Will, I go over and sit by Will.

        "Feel like getting out of dodge?" I question him, looking at him. Klaus doesn't know we already know each other. He thinks William is just a random human, though Klaus doesn't know his name. This isn't the first time I've asked someone if they want to, in so many ways, leave town or just leave. I've said it to Damon before. Unlike the new Damon though, William is kind. Much like when Damon was human when we first met. Those were fun times, but I've had a lot more fun since then. Humans are fun to mess around with, but there are a few I wouldn't mess around with. Like William. When I have friends, I try to at least keep them out of as much danger as possible, despite popular belief. I'm the one, after all, that made sure Pearl ended up under the church, instead of being burned alive. And I made sure that Anna got away, too, before I left town all those years ago. Damon is fun to mess with too, but unlike what Damon thinks, I never toyed with his and Stefan's feelings for me. Damon was always my equal. He only hates me, because I told him that I never loved him, when I knew that Klaus was coming to town. I was protecting him from possibly getting killed by Klaus, since Klaus has taken enough people from my life. I didn't want to lose anyone else. Especially, not Damon.

William's POV

        William hears her and says, "Ah. Hey, Kat. Missed you at work today. I wish I could, but my boss sucks."

        He sighs and drinks some more of his beer and looks at it, and says, "I hate my life right now." He drinks the rest and says, "So, what did you do today, Kat?" He looks at her and sees how beautiful she is and wonders why she's friends with him. He'd never been really that great with keeping friends. Not ever. Since he went to school, he was always bullied by people who thought they were better than him. He sees a guy from a biker gang come over and try to harass Katherine, his friend. He stands up and says, "Hey, buddy. Leave her alone. She's with me." He looks at him and watches him step over to him.

        The man says, "You don't look so tough, so why don't you stay out of it and let me show her a real good time." He puts his hand on William's shoulder.

        William sighs and says, "Could the day get any worse?" He grabs the man's hand and quickly flips him into a table. He walks over and says, "Leave now or go to the hospital with your pals."

        He looks at his pals from the side and looks back at him. He watches him get up and then leave with his pals.

        He sighs and goes over and pays for the beer and the table, and says, "See you tomorrow, Kat."

        He turns to walk away.

Katherine's POV

        I'm at the bar, drinking a shot glass of Bourbon, not too far from Will, as I wait for him to answer me as to whether or not he wants to leave. When he does, he tells me that he can't, but that he missed me at work.

        "Yeah, I'm sure you did. I was a little busy though," I reply to him. Then, when he asks what I did today, I come up with an answer that won't involve anything of the supernatural kind, considering he doesn't know what exists yet. I've been keeping that a secret from him. "Let's just say, I had some things to take care of."

        When I notice some bikers come into the Mystic Grille, I feel one of them comes up behind me. Thanks to being a vampire, I can sense when someone is behind me or watching me. 

        "Want to have a good time?" the biker asks me, as he stands behind me, before putting a hand on my shoulder. 

        "Now, why would anyone want to go out with you?" I say, trying to insult him enough that he'll back off. I don't need Will finding out what I am just yet. "Besides, you're not my type, so how about you do yourself a favor and get lost," I add, before finishing my shot glass of Bourbon. Throughout all of this, I can feel Klaus watching me. I can only assume that he's amused by the situation, considering most people know not to mess with me. Very few people are allowed to do that without being torn limb by limb by me. Everyone that knows what I am, knows that I'll rip off their heads for harassing me or being annoying towards me. I can tell that the bikers wants to say something, but before he can, I see Will get up and stand up for me, just as a good friend should. Then, eventually, the biker and his pals leave. Then Will tells me that he's gonna go, so I tell him, "See you tomorrow, then." 

        After Will leaves, I go for a walk around town. Sometimes living in a small town like Mystic Falls can be boring. There isn't always something to do, so it can get boring. Especially, for someone like me that loves to have fun and always needs to have something to do to entertain me.
