Ch.5: First day of being a vampire

Katherine's POV

        After Will has fed and so on, I ask him, "How do you feel?"

William's POV 

        William feeds off the stranger and feels powerful. He looks around at everyone. Hearing the blood flowing from everyone, he hears their heartbeats. He hears what they're saying and says, "I feel amazing." He's happy, as he looks around. He then asks, "What do we do now?"

Katherine's POV

        I'm satisfied with his answer and tell him, "Anything we want." I then give a smile. "First, you have to heal this human and make her forget."

William's POV

        He looks at her and nods. He then asks, "How do I do that, Kat?" He feels amazing. He's ready to learn how to do it, so he can be careful next time he does it.

Katherine's POV

        I tell him, "First, bite your wrist and make her drink your blood until her wound heals. Then concentrate on what you want her to forget, as you look her in the eyes. Then tell her to forget what happened and to go home. Once she's compelled, she'll find her own way back home," I instruct and inform him.

William's POV

        He nods and listens to everything she says, before biting his wrist and feeding the stranger his blood. He moves her hair away and sees the wound heal. He sees his wound heal, too. He looks into the stranger's eyes and compels her to forget what happened and to go home. He then watches her leave the party. He turns to Kat and kisses her passionately.

Katherine's POV

        I watch him do as I tell him to. Then, when he kisses me, I let him do so for a few minutes, kissing back, before pulling away. I still see him as just friends, but I also don't want to hurt him by just totally pulling away when he first kisses me. 

        After pulling away, I look at him. 

        "Great job for your first time," I praise him. Then I tell him, "Let's go home."

William POV

        William pulls away too and says, "Great idea ." He doesn't know what came over him. He looks at her and goes home with her.
