Ch.6: Bitten

Katherine's POV

        After I leave with Will to go home, I notice that it's time to definitely go home. I, of all people, should've been paying attention to the moon, but I was too tuned into the fun to notice until now. Smart vampires like me normally avoid being outside during a full moon. Now, I know time is crucial to get home before any wolves find and attack. Werewolves are usually my friends, but not on a full moon. They can't control anything at that time. 

        I briskly walk, heading back home.

William's POV

        William walks with her and feels something following them. When he looks behind them and sees a wolf behind them, he stops, panicking as he sees it, and says, "Kat." As the wolf growls at them, his voice trembles.

Katherine's POV

        Before Will says anything, I already know we're being followed, since I've been around wolves quite a long time. I always know if there's a wolf following me. 

        "I know," I tell him. I then add, "You should probably go get Klaus," as I stand face-to-face with it. I may be able to handle a wolf, but when it's an enemy I'm familiar with, I know it'll just keep coming back for more until either I'm dead or it's dead. "Tell him it's Jackson. He'll know who it is." I then look at Jackson. "Come and get me if you can." Then I blur off. 

        Jackson, still in wolf form, runs after me. 

        In the heart of the woods, I face him. Though I do apologize for what I did so long ago, meaning it, he still attacks. Then I end up on my back, bitten and scratched.
