![]() Ch.7: The RescueA Chapter by Datherine100Klaus' POV I'm having a drink at home, as usual, when a sort of familiar scent comes to me. A friend of Katerina's. So, I finish my drink, heading for the door, knowing a friend of Katerina's wouldn't be here if it wasn't of dire importance. Katherine's POV After being bitten multiple times, I'm finally able to get him off me, but I'm too weak to blur anywhere, so I use trees to help me. Because of being bitten more than once, hallucinations begin for me, coming from the past. *1490-Bulgaria* It's a dismal night, as I sit up in bed, having just given birth to my little girl. I ask for my father to reconsider giving her away, but he tells me without any sympathy, "No! You have disgraced this family!" Then he walks out of the room with her, as my mother tries to comfort me to tell me to just let her go. *1492-England* It's a beautiful day, as my human self, having just learned what Klaus wants, runs off with the moonstone and is directed by Trevor to go to a cabin in the woods, telling me to head to the cabin where a lady named Rose lives. Then, later, that's where I turn myself into a vampire, trying to escape him. *1492-Bulgaria* It's a dismal night, as I rush into my cabin home, only to find everyone slaughtered. I could care less about my father, but since I've always been closest to my mother, I rush over and grieve for only her, before leaving a while later to stay ahead of Klaus. *1498-Bulgaria* After having ran for six years from Klaus, I finally return to Bulgaria, searching for my daughter, but someone has hidden her really good from me, because I can't find her anywhere. Because I can't find her anywhere, I leave and go to America to travel the world, as I stay ahead of Klaus. *Present* When I come back to the present, I'm on my back by some trees, still in the woods, pretty weak. Then everything goes black. William's POV William goes to where Klaus is and says, "It's Kat. She needs your help. She's been attacked by a wolf." He watches him and sees the famous Klaus Mikaelson in front of him. He's heard so many stories about him from Kat. Klaus' POV "You did a good thing coming to me. Did she tell you the wolf's name? Where did you leave her?" I question, knowing we have to get to her soon. If she's been bitten more than once, she won't have 24 hours to live. William's POV William says, "I think it was Jackson. We were going back to her place when she left to the woods beside her house." He feels all his emotions come to him at once, smelling blood coming from inside of the house. Klaus' POV "Thank you. I think until you're in control of your emotions, you should go to Katerina's. I'll deliver her back there and save her," I reply, noticing that he's a newbie vampire. William's POV "Yeah. Good idea," William says. He takes off back to her house and is knocked out from behind and taken to a cellar. He's chained up with vervain chains and unconscious for a while. Klaus' POV I find Katerina soon after. She's in the woods, bitten more than once. Before going to her though, I look around to make sure Jackson isn't lying in wait for me. He's Katerina's enemy, but he's also way too ambitious for my liking. He'd attack me if given a chance, though it wouldn't work in his favor. Anything against me doesn't stand a chance, me being a hybrid and all. After a moment, I hear a noise behind me, so I turn to see Jackson lunge at me. I blur out of the way though, and he lunges again, but this time, I toss him aside. Then, we fight, me obviously winning in the end. I then go over to Katerina and gently pick her up in my arms, blurring to her place. When I get to Katerina's place, it's strange that the newbie vampire isn't here, but I don't think much of it. A young vampire could easily be distracted by something else. I then walk inside and lay her on her bed, before sitting beside her and curing her with my blood, making it go down her throat. Katherine's POV When I wake up, I'm in bed, Klaus at my side. By seeing this, I know that I was cured by him, but what's out of place is that William isn't here, which is worrisome. I sit up in bed and give a smile. "Thanks." I then add, "When's the last time you saw Will?" "He came to my place and I sent him on his own back here. I figure he probably got distracted by something and found his way somewhere else. Who knows. I don't really care as long as you're okay. I should be going now," he replies. I watch, as he leaves. © 2025 Datherine100 |
