Ch.10: Saved

Klaus' POV

        After Katerina's friend is safe and sound and has gotten cleaned up and back to the room, I tell Katerina and William, "I'm going to go take care of our nuisance of a guest." Then I go into the basement by myself to deal with James. 

        "Well, mate, it seems that all is well. Now, what do I do with you?" I say, before putting a hand around his throat, very much ready to end him once and for all. No one goes after Katerina and lives to tell the tale. 

James' POV

        I've been figuring out a way out of these chains, as I've been listening to everything going on upstairs. I already know that William has been saved, but that doesn't mean Katherine won't be in trouble for a while. When Klaus grabs me by the throat, as I pretend to still be fully chained, I tell him, "You can do your worst, but I don't think that'll top what I've done." Then I free my hands and throw Klaus to the basement floor, before approaching him. Then I pin him down and get ready to bite him, only to be interrupted from behind.

Katherine's POV

        When I hear a commotion from the basement I know that James is being held in, I blur downstairs, only to see the scene. I push him against a wall, away from Klaus, vamped out, considering I'm not very happy at James for trying to kill Klaus. And as I pin him to the wall, I put my hand around his heart.

        "No one hurts the ones I care about and lives to tell the tale," I say, before ripping out his heart and letting both his heart and body fall to the floor. Then I return my face to normal and turn around to look at Klaus. He's already on his feet and it seems like he's okay, so I leave to let Klaus deal with his body.
