Red

Red

A Poem by David Dodsworth

The red is in my head, yet I do not see the red as danger

I am not threatened by the red,as nature intended it to be

Quite the opposite I am drawn to its alluring depths and beauty

ecstatic with excitment, I reach out to the red

And it excepts me into its realm,I feel anger and rage

As the red takes my mind through a journey of evolution

I feel pity for the red, for its existence is a lonley one

Yet it warms me from within, massaging my soul

I see the red as nobody else does inviting and invigorating

The red glows as evolution unfolds and the red leaves my head
