Young and Almost Free

Young and Almost Free

A Poem by David-Tyler

You're soft like velvet
Taste like cherries against my tongue
The look in your eyes
I can see the desire to be held against the wind

Softly we sway
Against the time we've been allowed
And on we go down the road
Singing songs we don't know the words to

Young and almost free
I've got you and girl you've got me
No lights, no buzz, no fun
Trying to forget my favorite memories

Won't you hold me down
Tell me you love me with your hand around my neck
Can't you bound me to you with rope
Just so I'll never think about running away from you

You're soft like velvet
Taste like cherries against my tongue
The look in your eyes
I can see the desire to be held against the wind

Romance and journey of self discovery all at once

For being such a critical reviewer it doesn't seem like you are backing it up with your own work.

In it of itself that is not a bad thing, but your critique's were mostly based on vitriol and ad hominin attack. If you are going to come from that angle you must be far beyond reproach in terms of your own work... that seems not to be the case here.

Just another generic adolescent erotic poem bonded to a rigid form. I'm actually kinda disappointed. It's no fun when I can't respect my enemies... it's even worse for me when I start to pity them.

About
I post my worst work here to get constructive criticism. I'm critical of other people because that's what's helpful. I won't make anything personal until you do. I'm not here for drama, fights, or oth.. more..
