Good For Nothing Day

Good For Nothing Day

A Poem by David O Whalen (O Haolin in Celtic)
"

I'll describe it tomorrow (maybe)

"
It’s a real good day
For doing nothing’
Rainy, windy,
Cold and drear
A fitting day
In every way
For this time of year

Not a hint of ambition
Not a scootch of drive
I can say without inhibition
Hell…I’m just happy to be alive
There’s an awful lot
of things I know not

But I do know
A lil’ bit of somethin’
I say “today and yesterday…well
Purty much everyday!”
Are all good for doin’
…nothing’…
