Beyond the Gates

Beyond the Gates

A Poem by David the writer

Gates fly open welcoming you to a ghost town

 Demons swooping down

Laughing at you like the clowns and shadows

The whole town seems to be drowning in sorrows

Moon bloody red held in a black sky of ash

On the tallest tower Satan flash

By his side is Dracula hissed into the night sky

And now you wish this was all one wild lie

Laughing monsters in the dark feeding on bloody flesh

Drinking blood from dead bodies to refresh

Eternal hunger, eternal thirst, for your fear

 "The howls roar near"

No cross, no silver, only shaking hands

 Your blood Satan demands

It's obvious this is your last living night

So get ready for "The Night's Final Bite"
