Blueberry Field

Moonlight dawns upon a lone berry in the field

Hiding itself far from sight, but remaining close

The blueberry ponders what the season will grow

Sunlight spreads across the blueberry garden

A garden of strawberries growing across the way

Somehow closer in spite of a pond's division

Winter comes when we are apart

Yet my heart is full of summer dreams

When I have blueberries with me

Harvest bearing love's fruit

Come hither and grow with me

Come and lets entwine our roots in Spring

Come and rest in Autumn

Together in our garden
