My Color Violet

My Color Violet

A Poem by Daydreaming
"

I just wanted some thoughts on paper, I know its different from my normal way of writing. Thanks,

"
I lied to you,

Shying away because I was afraid take a step closer.

You who has the worlds support.
And me, who only had your smile.

I who was afraid to take your hand to run,
I ran alone instead.

You who was ready to sprint,
was forced to slow down.

I pretended I didn't care,
I cared more than anything.

I wanted to move in together and laugh some more...

I let my mind wonder and became scared.
I fed you lies.

I do care, I want to be with you and I want you to know.
Everything I told you that day, was just for show.

If I tried to apologize,
would you listen.

I'm sorry.
