Caduceus

Caduceus

A Poem by Dayran

The wings of hermes,

The rod of Asculapis,

The serpents of life,

Together as a medical symbol,

That the world has accepted,

As healing and good health.

This is placed here at this site,

To advice everyone of its content,

To say that it is of mind and heart,

That it is a place of communication,

Of matters that relate to life and death,

Please proceed with love and understanding.

To risk takers it is a sign of caution,

To those seeking wealth, it warns of danger,

But to all those who seek knowledge of self,

It says you are welcome.

The road of knowledge is dangerous and sloping. What is left in the end? The loss of innocence can be painful. I admire the way you arranged your ideas in this poem.

I've done some research on this symbol a long time back. It has double meaning...
It represents both the ideal state of body and mind "chakras." I've also have seen...where some think it's evil...a representation of the double helix...an extra chromosome, humans trying to obtain a "God" quality through pharmaceutical medication and alchemy. So long story short...when researching this symbol...it's like jumping down the rabbit hole....interesting subject matter. I really enjoyed reading you.

informative and warm as a toast. Loved it.

This is the best sign of good luck. It wards of bad luck and evil, where such an evil does not care for its own welfare. We have to reply to both sides sonny. It ought to work, otherwise I have a kangaroo finger that might. With love - Grandpa.
