You Will See

You Will See

A Poem by PetiteGemini

There's this little girl
You see her, she smiles
Yet there's pain inside
That she'll never let you see

She's fought her demons
For longer than you know
She just wants the pain to end
But no one will let her

She tries to find ways
To deal with this evil pain
But as the days go by
She realizes she will go
No matter how many tries

She will take that knife
And release the pain
Or will she take a rope
And leave herself to hang?

No one knows this pain inside her
For it is easier to hide than explain
The way she feels and why she wants to
Leave this world and everyone behind?

The reason is very simple
She doesn't think she means anything
She wrote: "Everyone will go on without me.
Will you please tell my friends and family I'm sorry?

I didn't want them to suffer
But this pain was more than I could endure.
It made me cry almost every night
And left me with scars I can't take back

I'm sorry mother, I'm sorry father.
I wish I could take this back.
I'm sorry friends, I'm sorry lover
But this pain was holding me back.

This world will be better off
Without me,
It may take sometime
But soon you will see."
