Forget Who I Am...

Forget Who I Am...

A Poem by Death's Poet

In the dark room of fear I wait
And watch my sense of self dissipate
And I know that at this rate
I'll soon forget who I am...

Amazing work ! it's a wonderful read, i liked it very much. I could relate to it and felt like adding to it -
I’ll not leave everything up to fate
I’ll go with action rather than wait
But I must hurry before it gets too late
Before I forget who I am…..

This is a fear that I can understand. Watching ourself slowly dying isn't the way we want life to go. Of course we want to hold on to our identity and not letting go.
