The return of a poet

The return of a poet

A Poem by Death's Poet
"

I have returned from my hiatus

"
If water was your love for me
How much bigger would be the sea?
Would a drowning earth there be?
I really hope so.

If your thoughts of me were sand
Would we live in dessert land
Or would it only fill your hand?
I hope the first is true.

If your compassion was a garden of rose
Would the garden be full and thick with those?
Would it be an eternal spring you suppose?
I really do hope my love
