Bake Sales And Ponytail

Bake Sales And Ponytail

A Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)
"

A holiday tradition.

"

Bake sales and pony tails

Each year as Christmas comes again.

We share how blessed we have been.

Set up a bake sale for those in need.

Trying in my children to plant a seed.

So the days tirade starts with ponytails.

As we prepare food for the bake sales.

Cakes and pies tended with joyful heart.

My children helping and doing their part.

Now its time for candy and cookies galore.

With dozens done but we need many more.

Three days and now we are finally done.

The girls and I have had so much fun.

So ends my tale of bake sales and ponytails

To feel joy in your heart giving back never fails…
