To Hope and Pray

I live my life by a few simple rules,
Hope and prayer are my favorite tools.

I pray for forgiveness and strength,
Often I pray for guidance at length,

Sometimes just to give thanks to you,
For being blessed my whole life through,

Just for the love you have shown today,
Help me to be of service in some small way.

By sharing my hope with those in need,
Therefore by my faith I could plant a seed.

That can lead someone else to embark,
On a journey to find their way out of the dark,

So help me Lord to find a way,
To let Your love shine out today.


I am but a vessel for Your love to fill,
As always I bow to Your will.
